Cruzeiro do Sul (Cruzex)

The Cruzeiro do Sul Exercise (CRUZEX) is a multinational flight exercise organized by the Brazilian Air Force. Its objective is to train in an advanced way common missions in modern war situations. Cruzex also seeks the development of cooperation and acquaintance among the participating Air Forces. From November 4-15th, 2013 the seventh edition of CRUZEX took place and involved 8 countries, a record number of participating Air Forces and aircraft. Besides Brazil as the host nation, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, United States, Venezuela and Uruguay took part in CRUZEX FLIGHT 2013. Natal and Recife Air Bases welcomed 86 fighter & transportplanes and 9 helicopters for this training exercise.
